Spreading cheer in Kerala, Mc Donalds launched their first outlet in the state at the LuLu Shopping Mall, Kochi, on 14^th March 2013. The much awaited-launch of the famous fast-food brand was executed by Tamarind Event Management Solutions Pvt. Ltd.

Mc Donalds believed in holding a unique inauguration which respects regional flavours. The pre-launch publicity reflected the brand’s affiliation towards local culture. The hoardings and print ads were customized with local content.

The Mc Donalds launch at LuLu kicked off with a presentation about the brand, followed by a lighting of the lamp ceremony. The fast-food joint was launched by ten children of Snehabhavan, an NGO in Kerala, along with Ronald Mc Donald, the brand mascot, who cut the cake and shared a ‘happy’ meal’ with them.

Ronald Mc Donald then went on an interactive session with the customers and spread cheer throughout the day.

The event ended with a press conference attended by various media across the state.
