The Book of Wonders : A Birthday Party
A birthday is a day when everybody wants to feel loved and extra special! So when Anekha turned one, Tamarind gave her a birthday party she can never really forget!
Anekha’s one year old imagination was craving to come out of its shell and she wanted to show the world what she was all about! So we designed for her the perfect medium of expression! – Her very own Book of Wonders on her first birthday party!
Anekha’s Book of Wonders was the overall theme for the birthday party. The guests were invited to explore her blossoming world, full of life and all things nice, on May 11th at Le Meridien. The theme comprised of a large prop of a book on the birthday stage, with the backdrop of the Tellytubby land under a shower of glittering butterflies. The ambiance lighting was dimmed to bring maximum attention on the baby girl, shining on stage. As she cut into a book-shaped birthday cake designed with rainbows and cartoon character models, Kalinga strummed the Happy Birthday song and filled the atmosphere with music. Games and fun followed. Le Meridien was bursting with the marvels of Anekha’s mind – starting with a thematic entrance to an ‘Angry Bird’ bar counter! To give her memories of a lifetime, a themed signature wall was set up to on which guests wrote their wishes and a photo-Op section was erected at which guests posed for instant photos and took them back home, framed.
The baby girl smiled and giggled throughout her very special day, basking in the warm care showers bestowed upon her by her loved ones. Anekha’s birthday was a special event celebrated with much joy and laughter.
